Qualifications
- College education prefers science/math/computer background.
- High school goalkeeper coaching experience.
- Being able to speak Spanish is a plus.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
As goalkeeper coach, this individual is responsible for all goalkeeper training in school soccer teams, both men’s and women’s team.
As assistant coach, this individual is responsible for some aspects of the soccer program as needed.
Assist the head coach to recruit goalkeeper and other players.
- Teaching and academic monitoring
Teaching 1 or 2 classes followed by school credit requirements.
Assist the head coach to watch your player’s academic status to ensure that they are in line to meet the NCAA requirements, especially for goalkeepers.
If needed, support students in their academic performance.
Be a major guidance and chairperson in students‘ dorm life.
- Team performance and discipline personnel:
Create a positive and conducive environment for player and team growth.
Assist head coach in the disciplinary process for any violations of the student code of conduct.
- Transport and meals support:
Transport team to all games and competitions, also in charge of meals for any extended trips.
- Responsible for cleaning team uniforms and other support.
